Privacy notice
What reading the site records about a reader (very little), which other companies’ services the pages load, and how to ask about it.
Who is responsible
The publisher of TV Activation Reference, Swati Kumari of Howrah, India, is responsible for how the site handles information about its readers. The publisher can be reached at the address on the contact page.
What the site collects
The site’s pages contain no forms, no sign-in and no comment system, and they ask readers for nothing. Reading a page sends the ordinary technical information a browser sends to any web server — the address of the page requested, the time, the browser’s type and the network address it connects from — which the hosting provider records in server logs for security and to keep the site running. Those logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to identify individual readers.
A reader who writes to the editorial address provides whatever their message contains. Correspondence is kept only as long as it is needed to deal with the message and is not added to any list.
Cookies and similar storage
The site’s own pages set no cookies and store nothing in the browser. Where the site loads a service from another company — listed in the next section — that company may set cookies under its own notice, and where the law requires it a consent tool asks the reader before any such service loads.
Services loaded from other companies
The following services are present on the site’s pages. Each is named with the reason it is present and a link to its own privacy notice.
| Service | Why it is present | Its privacy notice |
|---|---|---|
| No third-party services. | — |
Links elsewhere
Entries link to the pages of the services they describe. Following such a link takes the reader to that company’s site, which has its own privacy notice; nothing about the reader is passed to it by this site beyond what any link carries.
Readers’ rights
Depending on where a reader lives, the law may give them the right to know what information is held about them, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Requests can be sent to the editorial address; the publisher answers within the time the applicable law allows. Because the site collects so little, most requests can be answered by confirming that nothing is held.
Children
The site is a general reference and is not directed at children; it collects no information from anyone on purpose.
Changes to this notice
This notice is revised when the site’s practices change. The revision date at the top of the page shows the current version.
